Our Story
Being born in Germany and raised by my Grandparents, my Oma "Mutti" taught me the art of making a Bavarian style Softpretzel. I have fond memories of sharing "Pretzel Love" with family, friends and neighbors.
After emigrating to USA in 1980 and marrying a Military Veteran, I enjoyed being a mom and helping my husband build his business.
In 2019 I was asked to create pretzels for an event. The response from the guests was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone commented that it was the best pretzel they ever had.
Over a short period of time I received more and more orders for pretzels and The Pretzel Connection was born. My husband and I proudly use my Oma's Old Word Style recipe to create the highest quality pretzel, made with local ingredients at our bakery in the Heber Valley. We are a regional favorite and believe in quality over quantity!!
I am humbled to also be known as "The Pretzel Lady".
